Vera Wang, a world famous fashion designer, is famed for creating exquisite dresses for women’s special days. We would like to share wedding dresses 2012 trending in style and colors.
About Wedding Dresses Styles
Mermaid wedding dresses and a line wedding dresses are the most flattering. Vera Wang says most women look charming in a mermaid-tail wedding dress or a line shape wedding dress. Wang has shared some advice with engaged women who are looking for their perfect wedding dresses online.
“A mermaid shape clearly articulates the curves of the body. Ideal for an afternoon or an evening wedding, it also suits many body types, elongating on small women and extremely flattering on full body shapes,” she said.
While for those who do not want a tight dress for wedding, Wang gave her tips: A line wedding dress maybe a good choice. The style is very flattering and never out of trend.
“An A-line shape is always elongating. Worn full, an A-line can be extravagant without sacrificing slimness, while a narrow A-line can be dressy or informal. This versatile shape also minimizes a heavy figure,” she said.
About Wedding Dresses Colors
One of the trends of wedding dresses 2012 is to add a touch of color to the traditional white wedding dress. Take Vera Wang as an example, her spring collection has not strayed too far from the traditional white wedding dress. Vera Wang has added muted grays and champagnes to her wedding gowns 2012. Other colors (not white) teamed up with the layers of organza and tulle, go together perfectly to make a very unique wedding dress.
Vera Wang herself describes her Spring 2012 wedding dresses as, “an ode to the Paris Opera: Degas… young dancers floating about the stage! Artful and adorable!”
